Our Wild Story
Dedicated to Preserving Udawalawe's Natural Heritage Since 2015
Born from a Passion for Wildlife
Udawalawa Wild Eye Safari began with a simple dream: to share the raw beauty of Sri Lanka's wildlife with the world while ensuring the park's ecosystems remain protected. Founded by a group of local naturalists, we've grown from a single jeep operator to a premier safari destination.
Our founders were raised in the villages surrounding Udawalawe. They grew up watching the elephants cross the lake and hearing the calls of the eagles. This deep-rooted connection to the land is what makes our safaris different.
